This is an exciting role to support the work of Support Staffordshire by supporting our Locality Officers. Each Locality Officer is the go-to person for our both our member organisations and also our non members who want to find out more about us and receive our support.
We need some volunteers who would be able to support our Locality Officers by helping with admin, helping at events, spreading the word of what they do and helping to network with local organisations.
The role would be based in our Stafford Offices and would cover our work in the Stafford, Cannock Chase and South Staffordshire Districts. The role is flexible and varied and depending upon the events at the time could range from a few hours every other week to a day a week.
This is a great way of seeing first hand the amazing work that the local voluntary groups do within our communities and supporting them to enable them to continue doing what they do best. If you’re great at communicating and eager to get to know your local community better, this could be the role for you!
